Ok this is specifically for all you wonderful UK people here in the forum. I am wondering if any of you can point me in the direction of what a Leicester area accent sounds like. An actor in a current production of mine would like to try it and I have no idea in the difference between standard British and the accent from this particular area of England.
If anyone can point me in the direction of any tv show or film where it's used he would be able to listen to it and pick up the accent that way. He's got a great ear.
Thanks in advance. _________________ You need a little crazy in your life, otherwise it's just a bunch of Thursdays strung together

I should be able to help you with that, being from there and all, but sadly, I now have this stupid British/Australian hybrid accent _________________ Blackout, f**k yeah!

I erm, well I live near-ish there, but erm, I don't have an accent...
Actualy the people I know from there, tend to speak rather normaly, not realy with any real accent.
If your in real trouble I could give my singing teacher a ring, record his voice, stick it on youtube for you to listen to _________________
