ok i apologise if this thread exists elsewhere but i couldn't find it. redirect me if it does Smile

but i thought we should all say which is our favorite tim song AND WHY!!

i'll start:

Fav: You Grew On Me
Y?: because of the intensity and angst in his voice as he sings. and the concept that someone is so much a part of you and that you would die without them is such a sweet notion. also love can hurt and feel like it will only end when you die, like a terminal illness.

not perfect comes a very close second for me too, i almost couldnt decide.

I can't choose... I really can't...
Whenever I try to I'm like "Oh... but ... I really like that one! but that one is so clever!... oh but that one is lovely! ... that one's just awesome..."

I have to say for the time being,

"Poetry in a Lovesong"

I love the melody, I think it is very nice how he describes his wife(gfriend at the time?), there is a lot of love in that song...

And I sing along so loud in the car while driving... People started staring at me at the lights!

It's almost as if I could have written that, that's exactly how I feel! Weird!

Having said that, I can't choose just one song that I like best, but Poetry in a Lovesong is one of my favourites!

And I assume it's about his wife since she's called Sarah and they've been together for years now...ahhh hehe Smile

I love "You Grew On Me" and you described the reason perfectly, Maddi. But it's not much further above all the others. I also love moment of Bliss, because Tim's voice and the concept of being so absorbed in a moment that you are unharmable (not quite the right word, but meh) is just beautiful.
